The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has recalled 166,000 Toyota cars (Camry, Fortuner, Innova, Hilux), due to a defect in the spiral wire connecting the airbags and their computer, which may cause them to not work.
The ministry said on its Twitter account that the recalled cars include Camry models from 2007 to 2011, Innova models from 2006 to 2011, Fortuner models from 2005 to 2010, and as for Hilux cars, models from 2006 to 2010.
The ministry called on the owners of the cars concerned to contact the dealer to carry out the repairs for free.
