The governor of Jeddah, Prince Mishaal bin Majid, will inaugurate tomorrow morning (Wednesday) the first phase of the automated paid parking project in the historical Jeddah area.

The Mayor of Jeddah Governorate, Dr. Hani Abu Ras, explained that the project expresses the leadership’s interest in developing the historical Jeddah region, which is witnessing many development projects after the national achievement that was achieved by registering it in the World Heritage List.

The Municipality indicated that the operation of the parking system will start on 11/14/1435 AH, noting the role of the project in contributing to regulating the use of parking lots and providing an opportunity for visitors of the central area to circulate parking, indicating that whoever violates the system will expose himself to a violation or tow the car at his own expense.
