Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Traffic Department explained that the fine for not having a fire extinguisher in the car, or not renewing the periodic inspection, amounts to “150” riyals at a minimum and reaches “300” riyals at a maximum, stressing that this includes all models, including old models.
The media spokesman for Medina Traffic, Colonel Omar bin Hammad Al-Nazawi, stressed the need for a warning triangle and a fire extinguisher in the car, in addition to fastening the seat belt for the driver and his companion, stressing the lack of tolerance with any traffic violation, according to Al-Eqtisadiah.
Al-Nazawi also warned the students against committing traffic violations after completing the exams, pointing out that the traffic will intensify its secret patrols and search patrols in all locations.
