Insurance companies raise vehicle insurance fees by 12% due to the increase in blood money

Yesterday, insurance companies began applying the new fees on vehicle insurance at a rate of about 12%, as the companies’ representatives attributed the new increase to the increase in blood money from 100,000 to 300,000 riyals by the concerned authorities.

Yesterday, Al-Riyadh stood on a circular distributed to the branches of an insurance company operating in the Kingdom requesting the implementation of the new fees, as the insurance rates for small and most requested vehicles increased from 315 riyals to 399 riyals.

In the same direction, citizens at the car inspection station in Makkah Al-Mukarramah complained yesterday about the exploitation of traffic collection offices by raising the price to 30 riyals to pay fines and fees.
