The Ministry of Health refuted some of the misconceptions that are being circulated, including talk about limiting exercise within sports clubs only.

The ministry stated that what is being circulated about long sitting being comfortable for the body is “incorrect”, since sitting for a long time causes health damage, so care must be taken to move at least every hour.

And she indicated, through her Twitter account, that exercising is anywhere, such as walking for 30 minutes, at least 5 times a week.

She pointed out that walking has several benefits, including relieving anxiety and depression, improving mood, preventing chronic diseases, achieving a healthy weight, better physical fitness, lowering cholesterol levels, burning excess calories, and improving balance and blood flow in the body.
