A gang of 8 people failed to implement a strange scheme of its kind in South Korea by digging a secret tunnel under a hotel for a whole month in order to steal oil.
Details indicate that the gang rented a hotel in Chungcheong Province in order to use it to dig for a whole month underneath it until a secret tunnel was built to reach a nearby oil pipeline.
The gang claimed that a former employee of a government company was dismissed for trying to steal oil from another pipeline earlier, as the gang managed to dig about 10 meters, but they were caught at a distance of 30 cm from the oil pipeline.
