Mercedes-Benz unveiled its new concept of the luxury car, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet, during the Pebble Beach show in California, on Friday evening.
The Maybach 6 Cabriolet is an electric car about 20 feet (6 meters) long, has a 750-horsepower drive system, and has a battery range of 200 miles (320 kilometers) before the driver needs to recharge it.
In general, it is very similar to the version announced by the company last year, the “Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6”, but the new version has an open roof.
But the car will not be available for purchase any time soon, as it is one of the components of the future vision of “Mercedes” products that will be launched during the year 2035 and beyond.
The company said during the introduction of the car, that it can go from a standstill position to a speed of 60 miles (95 kilometers) per hour in less than four seconds, with a top speed of 155 miles per hour, and using the supercharger developed by “Mercedes” the vehicle will be able to travel a distance 60 miles after just five minutes of charging.
