“Meta” competes with “Twitter” through a new application for “Instagram”

The “Instagram” platform, owned by the American “Meta-Platforms” company, announced that it plans to officially launch a new application for text publications to compete with “Twitter”, after the end of its testing period with influencers and content makers.

And the platform stated, according to the American “Bloomberg” network, that the new application bears the code name “P92”, and it is an independent application that can be registered through the same Instagram data, and it also depends in part on the standard ActivityPub protocol.

She added that the users’ followers will be transferred to the new application automatically, along with other data such as the username, biography and authentication mark, as publications of up to 500 characters in length can be created with attached links, photos and videos.
