Including leaving it in dark places.. 5 mistakes that make your car vulnerable to theft

An expert specializing in protection systems revealed 5 common mistakes that make the car more vulnerable to burglary and theft, including not installing security devices, and leaving the car in dark and quiet places.

The British newspaper “Daily Mail” quoted expert Heidi Al-Sawaf as saying that not closing the car door is one of the most important reasons that lead to a large number of theft cases, even if the departure period is short, and it is also necessary to ensure that the windows are closed well.

She added that the second mistake is keeping the keys in an unsafe place, as we must put the car keys in a hidden place, to keep them safe from anyone who might try to steal them.

She pointed out that the third mistake is leaving cars in dark and quiet places, and she advised choosing lighted places full of surveillance cameras, and streets that witness movement of people and cars, as this will reduce the risk.

The fourth mistake, according to Al-Sawaf, is leaving valuables in the car, whether they are small or large items such as regular bags or travel bags, because that makes the car coveted by thieves.

And she indicated that the fifth mistake is not installing security devices, as there are many devices that can provide more protection for the car, including alarm systems and security cameras.
