The American company “Google” launched the new Mobile VRP program, which is a rewards program for monitoring security vulnerabilities on smartphones running the Android operating system, which gives sums of money to those who find vulnerabilities in applications designated for those phones.
The company explained in a tweet to it on Twitter that the goal of the program is to speed up the process of finding and fixing security vulnerabilities in Android applications, whether those developed by Google or developed by Red Hot Labs in cooperation with it.
She added that rewards are given only for security vulnerabilities that allow arbitrary remote code execution and theft of sensitive data, with rewards ranging from $7.5-30,000, depending on the type of vulnerabilities discovered.
