An American woman recovered a gold ring encrusted with diamonds, which she lost 13 years ago while cleaning the sink of her home in Rogers, Minnesota.
The Washington Post said that the ring carries great moral value to Mary Strand, as her husband gave it to her on their thirty-third wedding anniversary.
She added that immediately after the ring was lost, the duo had to seek the services of a specialized company, which searched with camera devices, but to no avail, but sanitation workers found it while they were carrying out maintenance work in a neighborhood of the city.
She explained that advertisements were posted on social media to search for the owner of the ring, and Mary learned of the post about the ring through her daughter, so she contacted the officials and sent them a picture, which was shown to two jewelry experts, who confirmed its conformity with the ring.
After that, Mary went with her 75-year-old husband to the city council to receive the missing ring, as those moments were documented in a video broadcast later on social media.
