Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the recall of 1,522 Volkswagen Touareg cars, models between 2011 and 2016.
The ministry said in a statement that the recall of the cars came due to a defect in the brake pedal unit, which causes it to move from its place.
The ministry called on all consumers to contact the Volkswagen dealership in the Kingdom to carry out the necessary repairs free of charge.
