A bus driver and a passenger exchanged fire in North Carolina, USA, after the latter demanded that the driver drop him off at an unauthorized location.
Charlotte, North Carolina, transportation authorities said the incidents began when a passenger on a bus while it was in motion got up and asked the driver to let him get off between pre-determined stops, according to a statement from the transportation system.
Immediately, the driver asked the passenger to wait until he reached the next stop, but after about two minutes of arguing, the passenger pulled out a gun and pointed it at the driver.
However, the driver’s reaction was quick, and he also took out a weapon and pointed it at the passenger, and started shooting from both sides, as a result of which the driver was wounded in the arm, while the passenger was wounded in the stomach.
These dramatic events were documented in a video clip until the bus stopped, and the driver moved to catch up with the passenger who fled towards the back of the bus, before exiting the side door, while the driver pursued him and continued shooting at the passenger in the street.
