Car rental offices attract Saudis with salaries of up to 7 thousand riyals, in addition to incentives

Specialists revealed that a number of car rental offices have been appointed for young Saudis, with salaries ranging between 4 and 7 thousand riyals, according to experience and level of activity.

They expected a number of rental offices to leave the market, especially the small ones and those that did not commit to settlement, pointing out, according to Al-Madina newspaper, that some offices were operating under commercial cover and were run by expatriates under the names of citizens.

Saeed Al Bassami, Chairman of the Cars and Transportation Committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the localization of the car rental sector will provide many job opportunities for citizens, and some may turn in the future to establish their own investments in the field.

The investor in the sector, Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, said that some offices offered to provide incentives amounting to two thousand riyals to citizens, to be added to the salary, in the event that they succeed in reviving work and attracting a large number of clients.

For his part, the investor, Abdul Rahman Al-Maliki, reviewed a number of challenges that Saudi youth will face in working in leasing offices, including working for two shifts, morning and evening.

It is noteworthy that the implementation of the decision to limit work in car rental offices to Saudis will start from tomorrow, Sunday.
