The Food and Drug Administration: 9 symptoms in case of acute exposure to pesticides

The Food and Drug Authority confirmed that exposure to pesticides in high doses is sufficient to cause health harm over a short period of time.

The authority stated that the symptoms that appear in the event of acute exposure include: headache, loss of appetite, thirst, diarrhea, paralysis, nausea, dizziness, sweating, and irritation of the eyes, nose, throat and skin.

And she stated that the symptoms of poisoning may appear immediately or may be delayed for several hours, and some symptoms may disappear within a short period of time, stressing the importance of visiting a doctor even with the disappearance of symptoms.

She pointed out that the risk of exposure to pesticides increases for some groups, such as pregnant women, the elderly and children.
