Worker caught mistakenly putting cocaine in hot dog

Police in the US state of New Mexico announced the arrest of a restaurant worker after he mistakenly put a bag of cocaine in a hot dog.

Police in the city of Espanola said the worker, 54, faces a felony of possession of a controlled substance.

A customer who bought a meal from a restaurant in the area informed the police, after she found a plastic bag in the middle of the food, indicating that she was surprised by a strange substance in the sandwich.

And when laboratory analyzes were conducted, it was indeed found that the substance in the “hot dog” meal was cocaine, and the surveillance camera showed the worker preparing and delivering the meal, but he soon began searching hysterically, as if something had been lost from him.

He admitted to the police that he had already bought the cocaine, and had no idea that the banned substance would end up in a hot dog.
