A circulating video clip showed a guard in an Indian technology company closing its main door with chains and locks.
The guard at the “Coding Ninjas” company explained in the clip that this measure comes to prevent employees from leaving during work, based on the instructions of the company’s manager, Anurag Sir.
The clip sparked outrage on the communication sites, due to the hypothesis of a fire and other incidents.
For its part, the company issued a statement acknowledging the incident and describing it as a mistake that was corrected within minutes of its occurrence, stressing that this action was not intended, and expressing its regret for the inconvenience caused by this incident.
