The American giant “Apple” group intends to launch a new application called “Apple Music Classic” at the end of this March, which will include “the largest collection of classical music in the world,” with exclusive albums and advanced search capabilities.
With five million classical music tracks, this application can compete with the few applications dedicated exclusively to this type of music, especially “Idagio”, which is currently the only subscription in the world for classical music pieces and concerts (with two million tracks).
The “Apple Music Classical” application will be launched on March 28, and will allow you to “quickly and easily find any recording in the world’s largest collection of classical music, with a fully improved search,” according to a statement issued by the group. Thursday.

The application also provides “the ability to search by the name of the author, work, or orchestra leader, or even by catalog number, in order to find specific recordings immediately.”
Listeners can also “enjoy the best available sound quality and reacquaint themselves with many melodies in a completely new way through an immersive experience with spatial sound.”
The app will also contain other features, including “composer biographies” and “in-depth guides to many major works.”
Until now, classical music has remained available within the “Apple Music” offer, as is the case for other streaming services, including Spotify.
And “Apple” stated that subscribing to the “Apple Music” service will be necessary to benefit from the new application, which will soon be available on devices running the “Android” system.
