Sidah Mountain, which is located in the cultural and archaeological area of Hima, which is registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is one of the most important archaeological and historical sites, which are rich in Thammudian, Nabataean, and Southern Musnad inscriptions.
Mount Sidah, located north of Najran, is considered one of the largest monuments, along with Mount Hima, and Jabal Aan Jamal, Shashaa and Al-Kawkab, which witnessed the first human attempts to write the ancient alphabet, and extends for about 130 kilometers.
The mountain is characterized by its ancient historical heritage and a prominent tourist attraction, frequented by tourists from inside and outside the Kingdom to see the drawings and engravings drawn and engraved by man on the facades of the rocks of the mountain, and the stone tools that he used to engrave his various and rich written drawings and inscriptions, which indicate the art and creativity of man in ancient times.
