Most of the villages in the Kingdom have their own resources, including plains, plateaus, and mountains, and trees, some of which are special, as is the case in the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve, which is covered with the colors of flowers these days, as if it were a collection of artistic paintings that present a show of attractive and captivating scenes. And the charming atmosphere.
But what is remarkable and attractive in terms of flowers is the charming “lavender flower” in its color, which recently transformed the kingdom, the carpet of official receptions, into its “charming violet” color.
The “violet” carpet matches the color of the Kingdom’s deserts and plateaus in the spring when they are decorated with the color of the lavender flower, and other plants such as aloe vera and basil, which together form a natural cover in a violet color, reflecting the welcome of the land of the Kingdom to its passers-by, and its generosity, which is similar to the generosity of its people, through the color Generous nature at its best.
Returning to the reserve, the reserve includes among its flanks vast green areas rich in natural features, and unique environmental, terrain and plant diversity, such as valleys, reefs, plains, and heights, in addition to the overlapping of these environments with rivulets and sand dunes, to form a distinctive terrain diversity that contains many types of diverse plants.
Over the past years, the reserve has contributed to its re-flowering and re-intertwining more, as it includes many trees and diverse plants, and there is a group of plants with medicinal and aromatic uses, such as wormwood, allium, clover, lavender, and others.
Through its various programs, the Authority seeks to work on a strategic program that achieves the objectives of the reserve in preserving its natural components and creating a sustainable environment for the reproduction and preservation of diverse plants and organisms.
