Watch the delayed delivery of the Tesla Cybertruck under mysterious disguise
Many Tesla fans were disappointed when CEO Elon Musk made it clear that the Cybertruck electric truck wouldn’t roll off production lines in 2022. However, it’s clear that the team is still working hard to meet pre-dates for the Cybertruck’s debut. But why does the Cybertruck appear to have so much UFO camouflage on it?
This video comes to us from a YouTube channel and was uploaded on February 7th, so it’s the latest discovery of the Cybertruck, and for three minutes we’ll see footage of the truck from every direction, with three men and some belongings around it..
Tesla Cybertruck enhanced by camouflage
It’s easy to see right away that the boot edge and fenders are covered on the driver’s side only. The rear tailgate was also covered. Of course, we’ve all seen Cybertruck many times, so we’re not sure what these guys would do with the video, but there are a few possible scenarios.
Notice all the blue bars around the truck? These may be signs placed there to get a clear understanding of what field of view the cameras on the vehicle actually have. They can also test other systems since there is no tape around the front fenders where we assume the cameras will be able to see. What we do know is that this Cybertruck shares the same features as the giant windshield wiper seen in previous tests. Such a scanner is nowhere to be seen unless it is on one side of the truck. Plus, we get the crisp look of the side mirrors required on the production model.
Elon Musk at a press conference about Cybertruck
Elon Musk has said in the past that the team is trying to make this truck drivable in a variety of ways, including full self-driving. While this may sound wild, keep in mind that Ford ships Bronco Raptors with illegal fog lights on public roads, too. Do you have some experience in the automotive sector before production? We’d love to know what you all think is going on with the slightly camouflaged Tesla Cybertruck.
