Kia plans to release 6 electric cars in China by 2027

Kia announced that it plans to issue six electric cars in China by 2027, as the second largest South Korean car company in terms of sales seeks to gain a share in the electric vehicle market in China.

According to what the company announced Monday, it plans to release the all-electric sedan, “EV6”, next year, but did not reveal any details about other planned electric models.

According to Yonhap, citing Kia, it plans to boost sales in China through a local joint venture there called Dengfeng Yueda Kia, which has undergone a recent reorganization.

Kia said the company would help boost sales and allow for a quick and efficient decision-making process.
