Does wearing this type of bra cause breast cancer? Gulf Health explains
The Gulf Health Council confirmed that what some people believe that wearing bras that contain metal wire and deodorants may cause breast cancer is incorrect.
The family medicine consultant at the Bahraini Ministry of Health, Fajr Khalid Bu Kamal, said in a video published by the council that breast cancer has nothing to do with the type of bras or any other clothing, stressing that it has not been scientifically proven that clothing has anything to do with this type of cancer.
She pointed out that there is no scientific evidence confirming that deodorants cause breast cancer, noting that many studies on breast cancer did not reveal a relationship between the active substance of deodorant and breast cancer.
