Automotive technology expert Ahmed Al-Harbi warned against sharing a small car battery with another large one such as heavy transport cars and trucks, or vice versa.

Al-Harbi explained that small cars operate on a 12-volt battery, while trucks operate with 24 volts, indicating that the reason for problems when subscribing is that modern small cars include electronics and computers that operate on 12-volt power, which will not withstand when connected to 24 volts, as this may cause In dynamo and battery malfunctions.

Al-Harbi cited, during a video clip on his Twitter account, a person who shared his Lexus car with one of the broken down trucks, which caused problems for his vehicle, as it started and stopped on its own.

He advised that, in the event that a person is forced to make a subscription with a car that he does not know the size of its battery, to separate the fingers of his vehicle’s battery before connecting the subscription, in order to avoid problems.
