General Motors launches one of the cheapest SUVs in the world

General Motors’ Chinese brand Baojun just unveiled the RS-3 in China, and the car is the fourth model in the new Baojun lineup this year.

The car adopts Baojun’s new design language, featuring a new front grille, revised front fenders, and a powerful front end featuring slim headlights, as well as a floating roof. From the rear, the taillights get a front-like design, somewhat similar to that of the new RM-5. Inside, it features a modern dashboard with a floating screen for the entertainment system and digital gauges, and is also available with a sports steering wheel and piano-like switches in the center console.

The car is 4,305 mm long, 1,748 mm wide, 1,597 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,550 mm long, providing it with a spacious interior for passengers and their belongings. As for technologies, it has got an advanced voice recognition system, and updates over the air.

The RS-3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter 105-hp petrol engine mated to either a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission. The Baojun RS-3 is available in four trim levels in China, with surprising prices ranging from $10,160 to $12,000. $710 (38,100 riyals – 47,600 riyals).
