Farewell to gas stations… “Toyota” develops a car that runs on “cow dung”

It seems that standing at gas stations in a long line will become a thing of the past, as the Japanese company “Toyota” is developing a modern technology based on new fuel.

The Japanese company is developing new cars based on a new energy concept far from the current concept and current energy sources, as it is working on manufacturing cars that run on cow waste.

The company has introduced for the first time the design of its “Mirai” car, which is supposed to run on hydrogen fuel cells that are converted from cattle manure.

According to the statements of the chief technology officer of the Japanese company, Shigeki Terashi, cattle feces can produce enough hydrogen to run this model of car, which was remanufactured a year ago.

It is noteworthy that the car, which is scheduled to be put on the market in 2021, is capable of using this type of fuel to convert it into electricity, without emitting any secondary emissions other than water.

The company’s experience in using this type of fuel is not new, as it announced in 2017 its desire to establish a plant in California, USA, to obtain methane gas from dairy cow dung, and to generate water, electricity and hydrogen.
