BMW (X3 M) 2020 is a high-performance car and a landmark in the sport utility vehicle (SUV) sector within the German company.
The new version “X3 M” and “X3 M Competition” appears 16 years after the appearance of the first version, with the aim of competing with Mercedes-Benz “GLC” and Audi “Q5” in the small compact SUV sector. .
The “Top Speed” website said that the new car will receive a unique set of tires, four exhaust vents, and larger front grille openings, but explained that it will be lower than the previous version.
BMW will offer an optional package that adds carbon fiber components to the exterior design, most notably the air vents, mirror covers, and rear bumper.
The car covers a set of Vernasca leather as a basic equipment, and it will also be equipped with a feature to display data on the windshield. Top Speed indicated that the new version is wider inside than the previous version, and it also receives sports seats, but the cargo space has not changed.
The new car is based on a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 473 horsepower, an eight-speed automatic transmission “M Steptronic”, and an all-wheel drive system. The company also offers the “M Competition” category with a 503-horsepower engine.
Top Speed said that the price of the new car has not yet been officially announced, but it is likely to be the most expensive version in the X3 family, expected to exceed $65,000.
