In its 50th flight test, Vahana has begun demonstrating the capabilities of its Alpha Two flying vehicle, which is equipped with eight boosters that enable it to fly, land vertically and move on roads in a conventional and highly efficient manner.
And “Vahana” – in which the “A3” unit of “Airbus” is investing – confirmed that this flying vehicle can fly for more than five hours continuously, and this is what actually happened during tests in “Oregon”.
Alpha Two was operated as a car for a while and then turned into a plane in just ten seconds to fly at speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour. Vahana collected data related to its operation to benefit from further development of the vehicle in the future.
It is expected that this vehicle will become a regular service in favor of flying taxis and may be acquired privately as personal cars.
