After its debut in 1967, the Toyota Hi-S is now entering its sixth generation, with a jump in size for both standard and high-top versions.

The multi-use vehicle passenger category seeks to accommodate up to 17 people, and Toyota offers a wide range of models, including a two-seater van for transporting goods.

The vehicle is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine, and another 2.8-liter turbo four-cylinder (diesel) with a choice of a six-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission.

(Motor 1) said that the transition to a “semi-protruding” front design means that the engine will not be installed under the two front seats, which will bring greater comfort to the drivers and front passengers, as it will eliminate any feeling of vibration or heat in the front row.

Toyota offers the car in three main categories: daily passenger transportation, tourism, and the van category for cargo transportation.

The passenger transport category is divided into 12 models between the short and long bodies, starting with the smallest to accommodate 13 passengers, and the largest to accommodate 17 people.

The Hi-S tourist class consists of eight models between the short and long bodies, while the van class is divided into nine models.

Motor 1 said that the car will be offered in its usual markets, namely Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, Latin America and Mexico.
