The Ministry of Commerce and Investment announced the recall of 37.8 thousand vehicles from General Motors (Yukon, Suburban, Tahoe, Silverado, Escalade, Sierra), all of which are 2015 models.

The ministry explained that the reason for the recall is a defect in the electric power steering system (EPS), which may lead to difficulty steering the vehicle, which increases the risk of an accident.

The number of recalled Suburban vehicles reached 7,130, 14,892 Tahoe vehicles, 582 Silverado vehicles, 10,721 Yukon vehicles, 970 Escalade vehicles, and 3505 Sierra vehicles.

The Ministry called on the owners of this type of vehicle to review the agents (Al-Jomaih Automotive Company, the International Agencies Company, and General Motors); To carry out the necessary repairs free of charge.
