Nabiullina added:

“Biometrics and the digital ruble are two tasks which can be completely unrelated to one another. Using the digital ruble doesn’t contain the obligatory use of biometrics. Each tasks – the UBS biometrics submission and the usage of the digital ruble – are utterly voluntary. That is our principled place on the matter.”
