The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has made final preparations to start implementing the decision to limit work in car rental outlets in all regions of the Kingdom to citizens, after less than 10 days.
The inspectors of the Ministry of Labor branch in the Riyadh region began awareness-raising tours of the car rental shops in the capital, to acquaint their owners with the decision to limit work in their outlets to Saudis, and to alert them of the need to adhere to the implementation of the decision and the localization of the sector. To avoid violations against them.
The Director of the Inspection Department at the Riyadh Labor Office, Jared Al-Dosari, said that the field inspectors carried out awareness tours to 250 car rental shops in various districts of the capital, in preparation for the decision that will be actually implemented on the first of the next month of Rajab.
Al-Dossary pointed out that the localization of car rental offices falls under the targeted localization program, which aims to localize activities that bring the citizen a rewarding financial return and provide him with job stability that increases his productivity. This contributes to reducing unemployment rates and raising Emiratisation rates.
