A report presented by the “Ya Hala” program revealed that Saudi youth from the city of Dammam resisted the culture of shame and worked as a car wash, in order to obtain an income that would help them in living. The program also presented examples of them.
One of these young men explained that he has been practicing this job for 4 years and has not seen a defect in it, as long as he has a halal livelihood, as he spends on his home and children from what he earns from this work, and that there are many now working in restaurants and “publishers”, expressing his wish to be able to Opening a car wash.
Another, who is still a student, added that he received encouragement for this work, and that his father approved of his work, to help the family with expenses, and that he receives an amount of 100-150 riyals daily, and that his trust in God is great.
