The activities of the Traffic Safety Convoy launched by the Saudi Society for Traffic Safety in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University witnessed a remarkable turnout from university students in Jeddah Governorate for the driving experience through virtual devices, with the imminent entry into force of the decision to allow women to drive.

During the convoy, the students were able to experience driving through virtual devices that were intended to educate girls about traffic safety rules, as well as several cultural activities launched by the association to introduce girls to the rules of proper driving and educate them on the importance of seat belts and the rules for reducing road violations.

The participating girls expressed their happiness with this experience, which greatly benefited them from peaceful driving methods, and introduced them to ways to overcome the difficulties that they might face.

For his part, the director of the Saudi Society for Traffic Safety in the Western Region said that through the convoy, clubs for male and female students will be established to create sustainable awareness to raise the level of traffic awareness and enable women to drive.
