The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has invited specialists and interested parties to view and share their opinion on the draft technical regulations for the classification of vehicle maintenance centers, which the authority is currently preparing in preparation for its official approval and mandatory application.
The authority stated that this regulation aims to define the basic requirements for establishments operating in the vehicle maintenance sector, and to define conformity assessment procedures that establishments must adhere to, and procedures for their classification, in order to ensure an acceptable level of service, preserve the environment, vehicle safety, and the health of the consumer and the facility’s workers.
The authority welcomed all observations and comments, and called on specialists and interested parties to send their comments before March 18 to the e-mail [email protected], noting that the public can view all the details of the regulations on its website or through Next link.
